Sailor/Actor Billy Campbell in Lunenburg to Film "The Disappeared"

Shipmate Billy Campbell, best known to us as Ollie, is back in Lunenburg.  But this time he's not here primarily to work on the Picton Castle or to see the progress on the schooner being built for him at the Dory Shop, he's here to work as an actor.  "The Disappeared" is being filmed entirely in Lunenburg Bay this month, a story of six shipmates who escape a shipwreck and are adrift at sea in two dories. 

It sounds to us like this is a dream job for Ollie, combining his skills in acting and seafaring.  And he's been overheard saying he will not use a stunt double for the rowing scenes, he intends to do it all himself.
