The Barque Picton Castle is a three-masted tall ship based in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada but best known for our adventurous sail training voyages around the world. Anyone can become a trainee crew member, no experience required, just a desire to become part of the crew that sails the ship. With the guidance of our professional crew, you'll literally learn the ropes. Trainee berths are available on the Rendezvous 2017 voyage from June to August 2017, or our seventh around the world voyage which begins in October 2017 and runs for 18 months. Under the command of Captain Daniel D. Moreland, the Barque PICTON CASTLE will set sail from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada on or about November 1st, 2017 outward bound on an epic 18-month around the world voyage, returning to Lunenburg in May 2019.
