Day’s Run – DATE: Aug 7, 2015

Parting is such sweet, sweet sorrow…especially when you have lived, worked and played with the same people for weeks on end aboard the Picton Castle. We’ve completed the final tasks, ate a fantastic final bbq, took the last few photos of the voyage and now it is time to bid adieu. Of course, in the tall ship world, it’s never actually goodbye, merely a see you later. So see you later Picton Castle – this summer has been a journey that will live on forever in my memory. From the ouches to the amazing and from the heads to the royals, I would not change a thing.

SHIP’S WORK: Moved Forget About It and Monomoy onto moorings; bottom painted Sydney; puttied bottom of Ollie Oops.
