Day’s Run – July 15, 2015

REMARKS: Here’s a first experience – everyone is on two different watches. During the morning we are all hands on the ship and in our sea watches for getting normal cleaning done and any ships work. After lunch we switch to land watches. At this point either port or starboard will be stood down to enjoy town until dinner while the other continues on with ships work. Once dinner is done the watches will switch again with whoever worked the afternoon free to explore. It sounds complicated but has been working very well – both for getting ships work done and for enjoying some free time.

SHIP’S WORK: Bent on topmast stays’l; loaded rope order; spot painted tropical blue; scraped and painted main engine stack and SAAB stack.
